so your car gets hailed up
and hail damage is easy to do
but it's not totaled because the damage is less than 75% of the value of the vehicle

you end up with a car that was worth less than what it was before the hail storm and a dinged car fax report which is going to make in incrementally more difficult to sell when the time comes
seems like something no one would want imo

I see the wildcat creek flooding situation hasn't gotten any better in the last 6 years. Course 6 inches of rain in 12 hours will do that in a lot of places.
