Why do Kansas City places insist on serving water in plastic cups? Gross

Ahhh now I'm seeing those pictures and I can think of a few places but they are all like sports bar types....that seems acceptable for water distribution.

I want my ice water served in a glass, dammit.

And I think the branded reusable plastic cups might be the aspect that is more uniquely Midwest. I can't think of any place that does this out here. (Elite west coast). It could be I just don't go to shitty sports bars.

There are bars that serve water in disposable plastic cups when it's busy though.

Canco, this used to be a must for young dd.  It’s pretty moving when they read letters from soldiers who died while playing music.

Tanners isn't trying to be cutting edge, guys. They're trying to fill your fat faces with booze and fried crap while you stay level with plastic water. Works every time.
