Just put a checkmark next to "pass the PE licensing exam"  :gocho:

how did you prepare? any bro-tips?

I'm planning to take it in OCT

It's basically just a hike, only a whole lot easier since you just sit around all day.

omg

if you completely F up your job as an HVAC engineer, i mean, it's like 74 degrees instead of 75 and people might complain a little bit?

Once every 5 years, too.  Those design standards are such a joke and a waste.

I thought it would have been nice to have something to do during the hour and a half or so between the time I was done with the morning test and lunch. You might consider bringing a good novel or something in case you get finished early.

That sucks. There is definitely a lot on the line, both in terms of earning potential and the factor of "WTF am I going to do if I fail this thing?"

I felt like I bombed the afternoon test, but that I might have got 100% of the morning test right. It made it sort of stressful waiting for the letter. It's hard not knowing what sort of score you need to pass.

I did not manage the final minutes of PM sesh well...probably left 5 unanswered , in addition to the other 5-10 shots in the dark. And the PM went better than the AM. Did not have much confidence walking out. But when ?50+ of 80 passes, i suppose i had the cushion.  (Civil WRE)

Did he say what sort of percentage it takes to pass?

I don't recall, he was pretty pissed.   He'd signed up to take it, then got sent to a job in Virginia for 6 months by his company so he ended up not having as much time to study as he wanted.

told a special ed kid today who was tired of being harassed by gen ed students and being called "weird" that the etymology of weird actually translates "to conjure" in english. which means magic. so the next time he gets called "weird" he should just say "i'm magic." heard him tell a gen ed kid that at lunch and it freaked out the gen ed kid. was awesome.

The gen ed kids at your school sound like real a-holes.  I assume it's middle school.
