Sure -- and a lot of what the documentary cited as "propaganda" was just cable news stories. O'Reilly cracking up at the various atrocities. Stuff like that. Apparently the story a few years back about how one of the higher ups in the Kim government was executed by rabid dogs tearing him apart is completely unsubstantiated.
Obviously it's a crap place full of human rights violations. I don't consider amnesty international to be some super biased source of propaganda, for example. But it was interesting to kind of check my own point of view about a place universally considered backwards and evil.
For those at all interested in North Korea, I'd check it out.
