I was a little kid and it was awesome.  But I bet for parents and other adults it was actually really rough ridin' creepy, right?

So you should think of "Eating out" in a dirty way, then look at that character's face.

Pretty sure Topeka had a Showbiz.  Wichita did.  Went to my niece's bday at CEC a few months ago and wanted to :goodbyecruelworld: about 4 minutes into it.

Loved Chuck E. Cheese. However, around age 6 I realized DZ: Discovery Zone and Magic Forest were far superior venues for birthday parties.

Hutchinson had a Show biz, I only went a couple of times as a kid.  It's where I honed my skee-ball skills.

I think it is the same as chuck e cheese.  more like chuck e cheese before there was a chuck e cheese.  or chuck e cheese for old people.  not 100% sure though

Kind of interesting.  I think Showbiz was to Fitz as Chuck E. Cheese was to Purple Pride or whatever it was that Fitz ripped off.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_E._Cheese's#Corporate_history

Eventually, Showbiz was to United as Chuck E. Cheese was to Continental, except they all decided to continue flying Continental metal.

Founded by the guy who founded Atari, Nolan Bushnell.

That is a company that failed to modernize, and smoked entirely too much weed during business hours to keep up with demand.

Love that the Showbiz in Manhattan closed and became a v. weird church and then became Cox Communications.

JK, hated that.

Never had a party at a Showbiz/Chucky Cheese. The closest we had was "Big Cheese Pizza," which is where we went after little league skating parties.

I don't remember if the Showbiz in Hutch ever became a Chuck E Cheese, but now it's a medical supply store. Remember taking field trips there to see how they made the pizza.
