True, but I don't think that's it. I work with ladies who are all, "Walking gives you just as much exercise as running. The only difference is it's not as bad for your joints. That's the only difference." And I'm just like,

Agreed, maybe they should take up biking or swimming if they are worried about their joints.

I appreciate it. I've been feeling a lot better, and have even gained back a few of the 20 lbs I lost. I'm probably going to start doing some light dumb bell stuff here soon just to get some coordination back.

What's chronic cardio?

Lots and lots of high heart rate cardio like long distance running biking swimming etc.

Interesting. Glad I spend 80-90% of my training time in zones 1 and 2. I would hate to be a chronic cardio person.

I hate home gym work.  Just can't get as motivated.  I blame the rest of my super comfy house and my kids that come downstairs and turn on netflix while Dad works out.

I built this gym piece by piece while I was in undergrad. It's great. The floor is lined with stall mats. I have a power rack, a texas power bar, a crappy CAP bar, plate loadable dumbbells, an ez curl bar, over 1200 lbs in plates, a dip station, a loading pin with multiple grip attachments, some medicine balls and some other junk. I love working out here.

Add a comfy rest of the house, some kids, a TV, and neftlix and BOOM!  work out not as awesome.
