Yea, I don't get that either.  Libertarians are typically much more closely aligned with Republicans, but this implies they're just a different degree of liberalism.

Doesn't seem like many red states have legalized pot.

It's a fair point, but I don't think many people would disagree with my statement. Republicans are generally in favor of smaller government while Democrats typically favor more government involvement across all issues. National security and law enforcement seems to be an exception, though.

The pot issue frankly makes no sense to me as well as almost any voter under 35 (Dem or Pub).

Well the results do come with a disclaimer saying the ideological match is dog crap. You also have two people on this board who were both centrist, balanced, moderate, and neutral across the different metrics, but one's ideology was "centrist" while the other's was "liberal."
