I definitely hope he makes this a trilogy because it left quite a bit to be desired imo

yes but if he was trying to shop it to places(which he may not be) not many people are going to gaf as much as if it was all banged out in one documentary.
The ending was also just so damn awkward.. it was like welp.. ok, I guess its over

Any idea when it'll be released for others to view?

I am lucky enough to live in Manhattan & went to go see it at the theater.  I am feeling bad for my non-townie buds however.

Part 1 will be available to rent in 10 days on the website, per their FB page.

Also, you can pre-order the DVD for $25 on the FB page.

I watched it this morning. It was OK. Some info I had never heard before, interviews from people I had never seen.

Will be interesting to see if they ever do a part II or part III etc

There's some good quotes.  They player interviews were fascinating/entertaining.  Little things I either didn't know or forgot about, plus a couple of their emotions telling stories were pretty good.  Early fiesty Snyder footage I don't rememer was good.

I found it very fascinating as a KSU fan, but I'm not sure how well it'd play to a wider audience.  It had a more of a "people reminiscing on film" feel, but that might be because of my knowledge of it.   It reminds me much more of an early BigTen network documentary than a 30-for-30 type.

Yes it's good and great for K-State fans but I think it's not quite produced at the same quality as 30-for-30s. Definitely interested in a part two and the old footage is great.

It was really good. Definintely wished it was longer, but it's looking like if its three parts it'll be what we just saw, then 1994-2003 domination, and then the return. After he makes all three he needs to sell it to ESPN so they can then use it and touch up whatever they see fit. Gotta keep Mike Rowe though. I could listen to that dude talk forever.

I don't think it's anywhere near good enough to be interesting to a wide audience. KSU fans yes. Big 12 fans, maybe. The rest of the country, probably not.

I love the story, it's crazy what he did. But, there's no real drama. At least there's none portrayed in this film.

There's like 20 things like this I came away with.  It was very fascinating to some like me who was starting kindergarten when Snyder started his 1st season.

The whole time I was equally thinking "I'm glad they didn't just do the standard Snyder stories" and "why didn't they mention this story or person?"

The more I think about it, this was a very hard film to make.  He had to have known he was targeting a very narrow audience with the hope of a wider, so he couldn't just give the target base the same old stuff, but also had to keep some of it for the wider audience.

I saw elsewhere that it was 90 minutes long, then 57 minutes.  When I looked to rent it for 3-days, the MiM site says the video is only 30 minutes.  Which is it?

I saw it in the Theater & watched it again tonight.

I saw Weird Robert/Robert Lipson down on the field waiving his foam finger when I didn't notice him initially when I was in the theater.  haha

The old footage of fiery Snyder at press conferences is great, especially since I couldn't find any of it on YouTube when I looked after seeing MiM the first time.

It was inspiring. The documentary records those years leading up to LHCBS as I remember the program. Yet I don't think it does justice to just how bad historically K-State had been in football.  To say K-State lost 30 games in a row was nothing new, it was expected.

Which is why it puts a further explanation point on what LHCBS has accomplished and just how fragile the program still remains, by making the wrong hire post Snyder.

Haven't seen it yet but this makes me happy, as much as we all like Bill the whole "story" gets old after a while. It's like you know when they do some piece on him this year on FS1/ESPN it's going to be copy-paste of any special they ran in like 2012 with minor updates. I want to hear the more real stuff, that stuff is infinitely more fascinating that your basic story anyways. Sort of like when you learn how the real ride of Paul Revere and the battles of Lexington and Concord went down. Way more :sdeek: than boring history class makes it out to be.
