Unless they can fine something truly earth shattering, trying to hang their hat on the Carter Page bogeyman seems rather stupid.
What they just described in that incredible reach of an article is the kind of interaction that all matter of people with Page's credentials have with governments trying to gain influence, even spy on the US every single day.
