Don't forget that we're without Omar Bravo right now.

The injuries and away games will definitely put us in a hole.  I just read an article in the KC Star about how Sporting has either the 4th or 5th highest payroll in the MLS so you'd hope they could stay in the race.

Lots of fans calling for Vermes to get fired after tonights game.  Most figured it would happen at the end of year, but at this point, it may help to add excitement and interest if they made a change before the opener.  I'd be happy to see them make a change as long as it isn't a complete nobody.

Vermes needs to go NOW we would be better off picking up Saint Thomas Aquinas' head coach

Usually when there's talk about someone being fired, you'll see some defenders come out but I haven't seen one yet.  Rumor is he is still well liked within the ownership so it's unlikely to see a mid-season change but another embarrassing loss like last night and things could get really interesting.

True, but if you remember last year people were calling for his head at that time. Not to mention that was right around when he got his DUI. I'm sure then the management felt some pressure to replace him before this season with the rebranding and new stadium. I cant see him staying on too long if we lose a couple more games in the fashion we did the other night.

Honestly our biggest issue is STILL our defense which is all that was talked about in the offseason. I'm shocked it's still not fixed. Espinoza is slow as crap and that leaves us exposed on the long ball. Not to mention Auvray seems to not have a clue about spacing, making runs, etc. Whenever he gets the ball he either dribbles straight towards a teammate resulting in a mess, or he always passes the ball backwards instead of looking ahead for guys making runs (though Kamera and even Bunbury have been lazy in theat respect as of late).

There's just a lot that needs fixing right now...

A scoreless effing draw = soccer is not a spectator sport.

I hate it when one team has the lead and everybody on said team acts like they have an injury then one of them actually has an injury and I yell at the TV.

sat front row in the cauldron right behind the goal.  It was pretty fun down there even though the view wasn't great.

The stadium is awesome, but the team is horrible.  I don't blame the soccer bashers coming out today because that was a tough game to watch, but people should also know that these are probably the two worst teams in the MLS right now.

Overall it was a great night, just wish the product on the field would have been better.  Looking forward to spending a lot of time in that stadium.

This.

I was front row on the opposite end, the south side. had a shot come right up and hit the gate/railing where we were standing spraying us with beer. Awesome. Felt like a high class stripper.

The product on teh field was poor. We had several opportunities to score, but I swear with both Bunbury and Kamera on the field we tend to have many more lapses in judgment. I"d prefer to have one of them playing with Sapong. They can sub eachother out. Thought Collin had a great game. Either way just had wasted opportunities.

Apparently many people on the other side of the field didn't see/hear the chicago fans when they lit up tons of firecrackrs causing havoc and smoke in their section. It also forced security to lay the smack down.
