In my experience, it was 12 years between in-person DPS visits. The first time was a real PITA. The second time I could do it online. The third time I had to get my ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE from Colorado ($$ and time) and gather sundry other documents even though I had already satisfactorily proven my citizenship to the State of Texas in the past and had a valid passport. Then there's the matter of even gaining access to a DPS office, which is no small task in an urban setting. No one is saying the working poor are too "stupid" to navigate this regime. What I (we) am/are saying is that the working poor are sometimes too busy trying to scrape by to jump through these hoops. Again, I invite you to come try it for yourself.

Late to the party here, but...is it possible that the bolded part came when you were upgrading to a RealID?  I remember doing that in Missouri the last time I had to renew and it was a genuine PITA.  I had the option of getting a non-RealID at the time but I figured I'd need to get it done at some point so I bit the bullet and did it.

great covert ivermectin story

A friend we grew up with saved her dad's life by sneaking ivermectin to her dad hiding in the laptop's keyboard. Story is now being picked up by conservative media, infowars and epoch times.

https://www.infowars.com/posts/woman-reveals-how-she-snuck-ivermectin-into-hospital-to-save-dying-father/

JFC it's horse de-wormer not C4 plastique.  I really doubt a person would have any trouble carrying a box of that crap in to any hospital anywhere and I really don't think anyone in said hospital would even think about stopping a person from taking it if that's what they wanted to do.  Most any hospital employee would do is say "okay, wierdo" and  :buh-bye: outta there.

is there a stadium big enough to host the kats?

This place is absolutely massive. Seats 82,000 and has a pitch that is 150 yards long by 90 yards wide:

Interesting that he put SIAP in the title.  That adds a whole level of complexity to that particular thread that fascinates me.

It's supposed to be cloudy and maybe rain  :curse:
Hop a plane to Indy. Weather looks fabulous for Monday.

The forecast keeps changing but it will still be cool. If I hadn't already dropped $1500 on my AirBnB and my mom was coming I would have considered it.

I keep hearing that Vermont is the best chance for clear skies in the totality.

Burlington is going to be absolutely overrun by folks from Boston, NYC and probably even Montreal

I, too, enjoy watching the March Madness Elite Eight Tournament™ on ESPN.  It's too bad it's gone so woke.

Alright, I couldn't finish the article. Truly disturbing. I had no idea this was a thing. "Monkey torture ring" was not on my 2024 bingo card.

Monkey torture groups have been on my radar for a while now and the knowledge of things like that existing really makes a person lose faith in humanity.

Not necessarily squatting-related, but perhaps squatting-adjacent:

Nonetheless, a pretty entertaining story.

I hope some hobo squats in michigancats car making him unable to move it across the street every day and he gets a years worth of tickets

another way to do this would be for the people parked in front of and behind michcat to simply engage their parking brakes

Woah, is that a carbon black pan?  That's the only pans my mom cooked with.
Yep, best sear I’ve ever gotten

Is that a fork or a chopstick or something poking out the bottom of the steak?

What are the absolute coolest things to do in Minneapolis?

Juicy Lucy

Real ones know it's spelled "Jucy Lucy" tho.

You could purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.  That would be pretty cool, especially this time of year.

hashtags are useful on here because I can discover trending topics on gE.com easier that way.

The only problem is when I use the hashtag feature it kinds screws up the formatting

Code: [Select]
don'tunderstandwhy

so it makes sense to just manually add them.

Yeah wtf the filter rules, it's even taken over my internal dialog. And I laugh when people say bad person or mommies or whatever in real life

dammit, sneaky filter...

Most of us have the profanity filter turned off. Join us.

I was genuinely not aware of this option, thank you for enlightening me.  (Although I do enjoy seeing some of the replacements for naughty words)
