Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Re: Denis!

"And, in order to continue our history of goofy looking white boys from KU, the Utah Jazz select Cole Aldrich.  We fully expect him to provide the same 5ppg and 5 rpg that Greg Ostertag managed."  Let the battle among SLC orthodontists begin.

Super season.  I remember when the preseason predictions came out, and thinking the Cats would be better than people thought.  But, I never imagined a top 5 ranking and all of the national media love we got this year.

Seeing Frank go from being viewed as a raging lunatic to the respect he now gets is a huge bonus.

It took me a long time to realize how much Denis means to the team, and, he will be sorely missed.  The way he took the team on his back at the beginning of the second half of the Xavier game really showed how much he meant to the team, and, didn't want his KSU career to end.

Some players will need to improve over the off season, and, I think they will.  But, when you look at where we were 4 or 5 years ago when we had Cartier and nobody else coming back,  I am pumped up for the future of Wildcat basketball.

2010 Cats Hoops team - Thanks for the memories!!

Scott gets major kudos for the physical conditioning.

How about Frank with the mental conditioning.  For this team to keep coming back after they had the game one twice and finally put them away for the third time was an unbelievable display of mental toughness.

Much tougher than me.  I was wilting by the 2nd OT.

Great, great win.

KState get to the Final Four and destroy NIU on their way to the championship game.  The devastation for KU fans would be too much.

This is great.  A KU fan who I work with, but, don't associate with for obvious reasons, had to go through the painful process of explaining to another lady at work how the tournament works.  One and done, no second chances, etc.

Then, after the explanation, the non KU fan says, "Oh, so, you must feel like I felt when the Colts lost".

Ku fan erupts with "It's nothing like that, this is my alma mater.  That's like comparing a paper cut to losing an arm!!"

Great times to be a Wildcat.
