It seems the consensus is the root of the issue must be addressed. If things can be fixed before a "Fire the Animal" thread is needed, who does he go after to replace an AD with a decidedly downward trajectory? Could Kirby be lured from Tech? Is Laird ready for the big time?
Assuming Zulu is doing exactly what we need him to be doing where he is, any other names to throw in here?

Has this been discussed anywhere yet?

I would take a stance, but I have a career and a family to feed.

Kansas State Football / The Dillons: 2014 Edition
« on: November 23, 2014, 01:51:22 PM »
We ran for 1 yard last week. The University of Kansas allowed 510.
Will this be the anti-irresistible force paradox? A completely resistable, almost non-existent force meets a completely movable object. Will D-Rob and Ben Heeney run toward each other and then freeze on their respective sides of the line of scrimmage? Or will they repel each other towards their own end zones?

All this and more riveting storylines (Joe Hubener: Birth of a Legend? Jake Waters: How many passing yards do I need before gE leaves me alone?, Cheyenne Zulu: Decision 2014, and A Legend's Last Home Game? :sdeek:) in this 112th renewal of the Sunflower Showdown.

Wanted to go Saturday but didn't make it. Could anyone see around the scoreboard to watch the players? How is Marcus in the biscuit department? Did the guys respond or was there a little Nebraska hangover? Any scoops?

Our boys in purple and white are playing elimination games from now until January if things go well. Understandably, some of you have been distracted the past few weeks. But now is the time to get it together. I know my role, I make the occasional subpar post and live vicariously through the rest of you. It's 24.5 hours until kickoff and I want to see some serious HFBIQ posting from _Fan, Pan, 'zacker, Chings, mocat, even BP,  some fighting you action from SD, some Waters apologetics from Wacky, more of the usual from Kim, some Gaylord Perry pud stadium smack from SB, and a Travis Green ACL transplant report from BSAC. Let's do this.

C43 gets a pass this week, but only because he said a K-State natty could be on the same level as a series. If we're all being #1Cat, that shouldn't even be a discussion, but trim 3:16 or whatever.

#Life can stay on the Royals board.

Gronk from two yards out? Cantele splitting 'em from 42 yards? Fade route to Deante? Will Geary suplexes the 'jacks QB in the end zone? Make your predictions here!

@ Baylor
TCU
@OU
@Tech
ISU
@OSU
Baylor

Obviously, every road game left will be a challenge against good (OU), hungry (Tech), and desperate, underachieving teams (Baylor and OSU). TCU is the only home gimme. But arguably the four toughest games on the schedule are behind us. The Texas loss still hurts, but a better situation at this point couldn’t really be expected. The same could be said for finishing with a 9-game win streak. But 14-4 can still win the confy. Winning the next three would be huge.

Team #2str8. Imagine the kstate0 t-shirts.

Up in smoke!
From We Must Ignite This Couch:

So, how do you think we'll do?
No, please don't laugh, I'm being serious.

KS averages 41 a game and gives up 17.

We have averaged 46 and give-up 37.

I say we rebound and put up 28 against their D.
I say we give-up 56.

KSU 56
WVU 28

The good thing is that we have a week off before taking on TCU who spanked Baylor yesterday by holding the #1 passing offense to 21 while putting up nearly 3 touhdowns more than their average.

It's a great day to be a Cyclone. Especially when Heisman candidate Colin Klein of the #5 Kansas State Wildcats is rolling into town on Saturday. Reigning Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year A.J. Klein is waiting for him in Ames. Who else is looking forward to some terrifyingly violent Klein on Klein action? As someone else stated, "you usually have to pay double to see that kind of action, Cotton."

Anyone else think our defense is even better prepared to handle the Mildcats this year than last? We're at home, will have 55k plus rabid fans shaking the stadium, and have the best linebacker tandem in the conference, defensive backs who are knocking down passes left and right, and a surprising defensive line. I think Colin isn't ready for what we're bringing.

Some people on here seem to be in denial of the fact ISU actually has a good team. You could argue the best defense in the Big 12 resides in Ames, IA.

Not surprised by the line at all. With the way K-State plays they rarely blow out reasonable teams. ISU took them to the wire last year in Manhattan and I know ISU has improved since then.

And this:

Quote
In my season preview I have ISU winning this game. I had the Tech and TCU game switched up. I hope this win keeps on my track for 8-4 this season. ISU will be a top 15 team if we win.

FYI, there is no team on our schedule every year that I want to beat more than K-State. I have never liked them, they ran the score up on us when they had the chance and they are purple. Come on Cyclones, take them out!

Kansas State Football / Favorite Snyder-era Pregame Songs

Whenever I hear "Right Now" the first and only thing I think of is Cat football. Made a timed PowerPoint to this in my high school computer apps class and synced pictures of K-State LBs laying people out with the power chords at the beginning, finishing with Litton and Kelly KOing Zac Wegner.

Close second is Asia's "Days Like These." Always feels like I should be wearing a hoodie in late October watching Josh Buhl lead the X-formation. Maybe K-State0, but if that kind of K-State0 is wrong, I don't want to be right.
