I like Mondesi Defensivly, but he is now 9 for last 57 with alarming 25 K's

I'm no fan of Colon, so I'd like to see them bring Whit back up, send CC down to Omaha for 10-11 days until Sept call-ups, and play Whit every 1/3 or 1/4 game at 2B

wetwillie, if you look at the september schedule i think you'll find that it has a lot of al central teams and iirc, the royals usually beat the crap out of al central teams plus we have rallymantis2.

i just realized that all season long the royals have won a shitload of games at home and sucked ass on the road and since they've caught two rallymantises at the stadium, there's probably a whole family of them living there and they've been living there all season and doing their damn job and no one realized it but only just lately have they started carrying a rallymantis on the road.

3.5 back of the WC2 spot (Baltimore)

Sea gave up 4 in 9th and lost. They are 2.5 ahead of us

16 days ago, we trailed the WC2 spot by 9.5 gms and trailed 2 other teams by 9.0 and 6.0.

Still 6 teams within 4.0 gms of each other for WC2 spot, but at least were are in the thick of it, not clear on the outside
