what if jerry ertz is a complete badass??
« on: August 18, 2015, 06:19:19 AM »
1)He's big
2)His running skills are VERY GOOD! He proved this last year
3)He's a nice guy
4)He gives AMAZING! interviews.

Anyway, what if ertz turns out to be amazing? I'm holding out hope that he's really friggin good. But if he was really good, i'm assuming we would have heard some "rumblings" from some sources, and i haven't heard much.

What do you guys think? Is there a chance? Or have i just taken too much nyquil again? hahah.

:bball: :dunno:

1)  Collin Klein barely did anything as a soph and look how he turned out
2)  Collin Klein will be coaching him up   :whistle1:
3)  Mr. Touchdown probably has a better arm, and is maybe faster than Klein  :dunno:
4)  He may not possess Klein robot like strength and toughness, but maybe Klein can teach him that

I bet he gets very injured and very ineffective by his third Big 12 game.   I see that as the most likely scenario.

Give the boy some puni biscuits and lots and lots of peas.  If anything, he'll have one tuff gut.

when I hear his name is Jesse, I immediately think of him as Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad.  Coach Snyder is then of course Walter White, trying to coach up Jesse to realize his potential, all while securing his family's future before his time on earth comes to an end.  Could someone 'shop Bill's face with Walter White's black hat, just to make sure this is gonna work.  Include Jesse as well.

too bad nebrask left the conf or we could come up with a chant that goes like "jimmy crack corn and I don't care" except we would care deeply because they would still be a rivalry game if they hadn't left

Don't know whether this is factual, but gd it is nice to hear some good news for a change.

Having him in the mix would be very, very good.  Thompson would almost surely redshirt.

I have a weird feeling this could be another '11/'12 type season. Relatively unknowns on offense, and a good defense.

If it's going to be either of those years, it'll be 2011, not 12. 12 Was established, we knew who our guys were. The real question was much rather if winning a bunch of close game the previous year was a fluke or not, and 12 came back a resounding "we're much better". Granted last year was kinda like 2011 but in reverse, where we lost a lot of close games instead of winning them. We did after all blow 2 games (TCU, OSU) with sizeable HT leads that normally we are so good at shutting the door on. Though that would make us be 8-5. Not 10-3.
