Not for debate about Sams vs. Waters, or for losery types like ydarg to say how losery Sams was.

Personally, the moment he stepped in for Klein against Mo State in 2012 and I got all excited and explained to all the dudes around me at BSFS about his #LIFE tattoo and then he proceeded to run for like 50 yard in his first play from scrimmage and then I facebooked "#LIFE" even though nobody except gE people knew what that meant and I don't think hashtags even worked on facebook at that time.

I'm also going to say the Baylor game is up there. He literally was the offense that day. Even though his INT late was a killer, he willed the team that day.

I always enjoyed encountering him in MHK. He is a genuinely wonderful person. He would always say "Hello" back to you, know matter what he was doing and if he wasn't busy he'd usually engage you in a short conversation.

I'll always remember the encounter PurpleBear, 'Meister, myself and Havs had with him and the rest of the offense at Rusty's Outback. Bear and 'Meister were snagging a picture with him when TLBL stood up on a chair and started screaming in falsetto "OH MY GOD! IT'S DANIEL SAMS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! OH MY GOD! DANIEL SAMS!"

Whenever he would bro out with Jake on the sidelines when Jake did something good and vice versa.  I loved watching their dynamic.

(btw I loved watching Sams play, and I will definitely miss seeing him in Purple for the Wild Wildcats)
