I really enjoy these types of things because had any other coach in the Big 12 said that about their team phogtucks.com would be having a field day with it.

The only other Big 12 coach who is in a position to say that is Rhodes, and at least his pile of crap made it to a bowl game.

Was Bob Huggins or Frank ever that harsh?  I don't recall if so.

Imagine if you were a player on the team last year, busting your butt, "almost winning" 3 conference games and your coach tells you were a pile of crap?

I would mutiny. I would walk right up to coach Weis, grab his clipboard and then toss it 30 yards down the field. I would then stroll off the field like a boss and laugh at Weis' fat waddling ass trying to chase me down but not being able to keep up.

Has this been mentioned?

Long-rumored, now a reality: In-game highlights from other games across the conference will be shown in stadiums during timeouts this year.

He's blaming his players and not taking responsibility for his own actions. A big reason for that pile of crap, was one of his boys, Dayne Crist. He'll stomp on Turner Gill's ghost as long as he's here. Circle of life and stuff.

Tim you catch a lot of flack here so I'm going to answer honestly.

Coach speak is a term used for a reason, he can say whatever he wants in the locker room but this is big 12 media days and trashing your team in public is dumb

I don't know, Bill Ranked us #99 again  :don'tcare:

But that might be more a comment on his opinion of rankings than the team's ability.

But... gE is having a field day with it, ipso facto, you've just conflated phogtucks.com and gE.com  :sdeek:

once again this is the wussification of football...no longer can players hit the QB, running backs can't lead with their head to protect the ball and fight for extra yards and coaches get fired for being a little hard on their players. Come on it's football, if you can't handle being called a "pile of crap" when in fact your play was that then maybe you shouldn't be playing football. I have NO problem with what charlie said although he probably could have worded it better.
