In the OJ Simpson 30 for 30 doc, Jeffrey Toobin says, ""If you were a football fan in the late '60s and somebody said to you, 'Do you remember the run?,' it was just one run. It set O.J. apart from everyone."
It was a 64-yard TD run with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter vs UCLA. It ended up being the deciding score to win the PAC-8 and head to the Rose Bowl (and the win had a big effect on the AP poll champ).

It had huge implications, but my hot take is: for something that gets to be called "The Run", the run itself isn't terribly impressive.
