nope no all state recognition, just second team all league. not even sure what league he was in but i'm sure he works real hard.

Newton should be with AVCTL 1 with Hutch, Derby, Maize, et al.
So there is at least 2 D-Ends in his league better than him, and roughly 6-8 or more better D-Ends in 5a Kansas football last year, but by god he is good enough to be a P5 scholarship player committed in July before his senior year. God I hate our coaches.

How many of those 6-8 DE's that are better than him are 6'5?

There is a kid Kstate is looking at out of Pratt, Kaufman that ran 4.4 twice at the Wyoming camp. He is working out through the dbag Jake Sharp's training deal. Will be a senior.

I don't mind us reaching on OL guys. Dickey has a pretty good track record turning local under recruited kids into studs. When we reach for the DITR on the skill positions is when it becomes problematic.

I believe a RS Junior this year. Since he redshirted, not sure what that means when transferring.
