What's your guyses favorite thing about kurtz?? Mine is the silky smooth velvety radio voice but I also love his scoops. Oh I also like his mid range jumper, very underrated.

He's just comfortable and natural in front of a microphone and camera, he has a gift.

Now, Admittedly, I've not listened to many broadcasters/radio personalities. But among those I've heard, Al Michaels is the only one that compares to John Kurtz.

I know somebody else mentioned Kurtz and BSOC, but Kurtz would have been younger than Son of Katkid when BSOC started posting.

You know the thing about the J-kurtzter is that when he tells a lady "just the tip?", he actually means just the rough ridin' tip. Can you effing believe that? He only gives 'em the tip! I mean you simply do not find that kind of honesty and character anymore. The rough ridin' restraint and self-control too. Just does not exist. Except our guy kurtz of course. It's goddamned refreshing is what it is.
