I believe he favorited a tweet of mine about 2 years ago when I tweeted something along the lines of "how there is nothing quite like a bunch of 50 something year old moms with their daughters at a frat party taking straight shots of bartons."
He does a really good job covering the cats. Hope he sticks around for awhile.

Maybe luked, but Brian Smoller's new look is kind of terrifying. Shaved head, thick beard, mouth that says stuff about women's hoops tickets. Kurtz should at least do all the on-screen appearances in place of B-Smo.

By the way, we do NOT mean John Kurtz the Canadian Hockey player of the Norfolk Admirals. The one we are talking about in this thread is a different John Kurtz. I may be wrong, but he is prolly not the KC Wrongful Death Attorney either.

OK, this is getting ridiculous. It seems you cannot swing a dead cat on Google without hitting a John Kurtz. I assume OUR John Kurtz is not co-chair of a creditor rights and bankruptcy group, nor does he have a blossoming real estate biz in Charlottle.
Our John needs a name change. Needs to cut through all this John Kurtz noise and really build his brand.

What's your guyses favorite thing about kurtz?? Mine is the silky smooth velvety radio voice but I also love his scoops. Oh I also like his mid range jumper, very underrated.

He's just comfortable and natural in front of a microphone and camera, he has a gift.
Now, Admittedly, I've not listened to many broadcasters/radio personalities. But among those I've heard, Al Michaels is the only one that compares to John Kurtz.

You know the thing about the J-kurtzter is that when he tells a lady "just the tip?", he actually means just the rough ridin' tip. Can you effing believe that? He only gives 'em the tip! I mean you simply do not find that kind of honesty and character anymore. The rough ridin' restraint and self-control too. Just does not exist. Except our guy kurtz of course. It's goddamned refreshing is what it is.
