The predetermined narrative at the beginning of the season was that the Big 12 will be a race between OU and OSU, with the rest of the conference being pretty weak. No surprises with this early season prediction.

I searched for this thread last week when this article came out but I gave up. Then I threw a fit about the article in a thread on KSO.

Those guys on KSO are nuts. I said we had no business being on that list and not a single person agreed with me. Lunacy.

I think he put a lot of weight on past win percentage. I took it as "historically, these have been the toughest places to win" and less so as an indictment on our program going forward.

It's possible. We did lose at Vanderbilt last year, so that would give the list some credibility.

That was amazingly stupid, where the hell was Boston College, Northwestern, Syracuse, Butgers, and Wake Forest? He literally didn't put the five hardest to win places.

I would probably put us at #5 and aTm at #6. (Of course that is without knowing whether Fla, LSU, Auburn and Alabama will be any good this year)
