Most of us remember when Hambone the gorilla was shot when a kid fell in his cage.  Trump said he would have blasted him.  This might explain why he is addicted to watching the Gorilla Channel.  It has been reported that Trump has a strong relationship now with evangelicals, and is a more thoughtful and compassionate man.  I suspect he is remorseful of saying blast the damn critter, and now is trying to psychologically make amends.  I just read he locks himself in his room and eats cheeseburgers.  Won't let Melania in.  I hope the Gorilla watching is not morphing into a perversion.  If so, don't let him watch the Baboon Channel.

The gorilla channel thing was a parody post

Apparently there is a spirited crusaude by conservatives to discredit Wollfy.  I am not certain about where the Gorilla Channel is located.  Maybe some zoo feed.  I suggest  CSPAN might be a good substitute.

I thought the Gorilla thing was hilarious. Just like the excerpts that have been posted from the book.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

From the article:
"I am not even talking about Russian rumor mills peddling bombastic stories to impressionable social media users. I'm talking about a growing problem I've noticed on the left side of the political spectrum: believing the absolute worst about Trump and those around him with no evidence whatsoever.

Many have been so inundated with daily almost-unbelievable acts by Trump that they are now inclined to believe whatever negative thing about his administration they hear. Adding to that, the desire to believe every incendiary thing about our president has evolved into a comforting dopamine rush, even when it's based on nothing."

Seems pretty similar to K-S-U-Dubz types believing Seth Rich was murdered by Hillary :dunno:

After the second debate, Trump's buddy Nigel Farage called Don a bignore Alpha Male gorilla.  So maybe he watches gorilla shows.  The Clinton’s were always doing crap and the media covered for them.

I don’t believe that. I think that’s a pretty fringe theory on the right. By contrast, the DC federal workforce is lining up to buy this book in droves. It’s political pornography. 50 Shades for liberal Trump haters. This kind of garbage only enables their hysteria.

Have you considered that maybe the reason it’s selling so well is because it’s exposing a president who has one of the lowest approval ratings in American history, and that even if only 25% of the details about him being a rough ridin' idiot are true, it still proves how dangerously unequipped he is to hold the highest office in the land? :dunno:

the fact that somebody who trump's people are currently calling a hack was allowed free reign to the white house and the staff is incredible on it's own. then the fact that he put pen to paper on everything he saw and heard just adds to it.

I mean, I haven't read it. but I know who wrote it and how they got access. I'm guessing most people disparaging the book haven't read it either but are just playing my team v. their team (including trump).

This book isn’t “exposing” anything. It is re-affirming what Trump haters already believed about Trump, and I can guarantee you only Trump haters are buying it. Wolff is simply feeding more crazy to the crazy. What if only 25% is true?! That means 75% is false. In all likelihood, some of anecdotes in the book are true, some are grossly exaggerated, and some are outright false, and nobody knows which is which, which makes the whole thing a trashy fabrication. So if this book gives you your Trump derangement fix, by all means, snort it up.

But if you honestly believe Donald Trump is an idiot, what does that make you? This man has built a real estate and media empire and been elected President of the United States. He has amassed more fame, fortune, and power than you will ever sniff. But call him an idiot.

So much so he couldn’t even last a week

Anyway, couldn’t avoid making that observation, but it’s New Year’s Eve and I don’t really feel like playing whack-a-mole today. In fact, I think I’m going to take a little time off from this stuff. I sincerely wish every one of you a happy and prosperous 2018!!

Wolffy opined that weird Donny is afraid of germs or getting poisoned, so he eats food from McDonald's, this is more nutty than Gorillas or going to bed at 6:30.  I would like to know what the White House is like now after canning Bannon.

Poor little crazies. The great KGB Konspiracy just hasn’t panned out. Remember the “emoluments” argument? Pfffft. So now we’re down to “he’s crazy! 25th Amendment!!!” It’s sad, really, how desperately deranged the Trump haters have become.

Trump was always insecure. He has a massively huge ego and a super thin skin. It's sometimes annoying to me that he constantly feels the need to combat every slight, both real and perceived (his recent threat to sue Wolff being a perfect example).

But two things in his defense. First, I guess he's doing something right because he did win the presidency, so who the hell am I - or anyone else who hasn't achieved what he has - to tell him it's not working?

Second, I think if any of us were in his (admittedly small) shoes, we'd be more than a little pissed off that the entire liberal media and beltway swamp political machine has been attempting to delegitimize this presidency since Hour 1. The Russian COLUSION fantasies, constant leaks and open defiance from the federal bureaucracy, journalists engaging in a steady drumbeat of negative news so as not to "normalize" this presidency. No president in the history of the United States - not even Reagan or GWB - has ever faced this kind of onslaught.

It is pretty amazing coming to the defense of him. It's like ksu-dub is trying to figure out why people can't seems to get off trump's case while trump himself willfully does this all to himself. It's wacky-esque (some offense to wacky but with all due respect).

Also funny how like pretty much everything offered as said defense is like happening right in front of him. It's like questioning whether or not the sky is in fact, actually blue, or that we indeed, are at war with Eastasia, instead of Eurasia.

I said it a lot pre-election but there is a massive right wing base that formed into a line behind trump the second he won the nomination and will defend and deflect for him no matter what he does. it's ingrained in their "my team v. your team" consciousness. there is the same thing on the left. both of those contingents are blind to it for the most part so pointing it out doesn't do a lot of good except to laugh at it with your moderate buds.
