Do you listen to radio feed while watching the game on TV?

Only when the announcers are totally rooting for the other team, that just makes me so angry  :curse:

WC does EMAW p hard on gameday. I saw him at a bar a few years ago during a Cats game, yelling "ooooooooooo" before each play while we were on D and moving his hands up and down for everyone to get louder.

He was in KCMO and the game was in Stillwater OK.

I honestly can't help myself. I've scared pets, children, and grown adults with my antics.

KSU-KU basketball games in my mid 20's out with friends. I've really embarrassed myself.

None taken at all. I get it. When i'm out eating on a Sunday and some bad person is going crazy over some random team IDGAF about goes crazy (Vikings fans for an example), it annoys the crap out of me. When I did that around cf3 tho, I was at least at a K-State bar.

It really is hard to say what the craziest thing i've done out before tho. We could be here all day. I did lead a KSU chant on top of rusty's in 2006 after we won at Lawrence.

I honestly never listen to games on the radio, especially cat games.  My phone streams video.  Even in a vehicle I would rather connect to my car and listen to a TV stream.

So wherever Kstate lands for games i really don't care.  They will get same coverage on daytime radio.  KK might cover them more to piss off his new viewers.

I just want terrestrial radio EMAW types in KC to have a good signal and a station that carries the entire broadcast.   Anybody who tunes into 610 or 810 to listen to them slog through the Bataan Death March known as the MLB season or to listen to Stan Weber's hot takes scripted straight out of the SID's office is nuts.

Remember how nervous we all were before @wvu, and then we ended up beating them by 100? Antics were aplenty

It's those kinds of games that are just the funnest and we don't get them very much anymore.

That's what was so great about Snyder 1.0.   A bunch of games where somebody thought that hey had a shot, had been on a little roll, catching K-State coming off a tough loss, and K-State would just go crush their soul.

It's free sports entertainment, man. It's fun if you don't take it too seriously. We like talking trade deadlines, Stan takes, and player interviews. It's a small market city that carries two legit sports radio stations. It's a great thing for this part of the country.

I was wondering if this is going to affect KK's weekly Stan Weber segment.  That's something I like to tune in to.  I mean, when he devotes 10 minutes to talking about his football "game" that he made at home using paper and dice...that's exhilarating.

Yeah, but you're forgetting about B12/SEC Media Days and also when they point the mics right into a conference call?  That's gold right there.

I guess I'm just used to the Southeast where radio covers college sports at much greater depth.

It almost swings to far the other way.  I don't bother streaming 810 anymore.

I subscribe to the podcasts, get Kerkoff every week, Gottlieb during basketball season, and the random couple of college sports guests they have a week.

Big har har until I learned WHB is dropping Cats in favor of KU.  We can pick up 810, but not 610.  Rich bastards and bastardettes and Oscar's balls did us in.

Dax what the heck do you want sports talk in KC to cover from April - August? Yeah, its gonna be heavy on the Royals until the Chiefs training camp starts.
