Sys, thanks for the information.  I am writing him in.  Does anyone know if he is registered yet with KS. Secretary of State as a recognized write in candidate?

This is the only, only poll to report such a result. No others are even close to this.

I listened to him on the radio today. He said those other polls don't even have him as a choice so he was polling 20% as a write in which is pretty remarkable

I'll be using my throwaway vote to write him in (unless he somehow gets on our ballot)

You can't write him in in Kansas. I mean, you can write whatever you want on the ballot, but it won't count.

I read something last week that didn't list Kansas. I guess you can write him in.

I don't know if I will either, I don't even know who he is.  Need to do some research.  But I was on the verge deciding to just write in something funny like Leslie Knope or Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

To win, Evan needs to win Utah, but then he needs Trump to do well enough to just about tie Clinton, but not so well that he actually beats her. So if you are in a red state or a tossup state, Evan's best chance would be you actually voting for Trump.

Doesn't matter.  They are both below the prophet.

McMullin, who has received between 20 and 29 percent of the vote in Utah in four recent polls, is close to the threshold I described above. That puts him on something of a precipice: He’s likely to either gain support or lose it instead of staying where he is right now...

Typically in mid-October, if you saw an independent polling at 20-something percent, you’d assume he was on his way down after once having been more competitive. McMullin, however, has the potential to benefit from a feedback loop as more people hear about his candidacy and consider him to be a viable option...

I wouldn’t be surprised to see McMullin gain further ground in the next round of polling.

Has a 3rd party candidate ever won a state in the modern era?  BTW I have no idea what constitutes the modern era but I'm sure it's a thing.
