Inefficient "green" energy now getting more government subsidies than traditional energy sources (yet still only capable of producing a fraction of what is needed to power the country, and the world. Not to mention fomenting energy poverty with skyrocketing rates).
Elon Musk gets billions in government subsidies, while people who buy his cars can get up to a $10k tax breaks (while batteries are still produced in a highly polluting fashion and the production carbon footprint is still expansive, to say the least).

Me, you, Steve Dave, strangers, grandpa, grandma, and everyone benifit from the largese of government from all levels way more than the amount contributed through taxes. I just got back from St. Louis. It took me probably 1 inch and I was then using the portion of I70 someone else paid for. So all government spending is not bad; it's stupid spending and spending that benefit a few that irks people. I have no problems with the federal government spending on research or tax credits to spur atuff. Muskrat has gotten rich off of Obaminists who want to control us through energy. Energy independence encompasses individual freedom. Think of the ramifications if you have to go to the Obama Gore electrical service station for a shot of electro. Skinny don't mess it God.
