Being a townie basically means they were not only led to water, but held under for 18 yrs. Non townies made a conscious decision without fear of not being welcome home again.

the idea of being a fan of a school just because you attended that school is so bizarre and ridiculous. anyone who isn't a fan of the nearest university to where they were born and raised is a flawed human being.

Here's the deal, folks.

The silence can be looked at two ways: There's either no news to be had or it's the calm before the storm. I don't really know what's going to happen, and I'm being perfectly honest. There's no hiding or sugarcoating here. Part of me thinks he stays because he'll be a junior with some inexperienced guys coming in behind him and the other part believes he will leave to get guaranteed playing time elsewhere. The decision is his. I wish I had a better answer.

Consistent mixed messages would indicate to me that the decision is in Nigel's circle and he hasn't been forthcoming with his thought process with anyone around here. My guess is he's pondering a transfer closer to home to be guaranteed playing time because K-State has verbals from two pure point guards and signed a combo guard in this class.

At the end of the day, I want kids in the program who are willing and ready to compete for playing time, even if that means nine new bodies. Either be 100 percent invested or don't be at K-State.

Another idea: There is a locker shortage in the new facility. An inadvertent design oversight. Nigel merely drew the short straw and has to share with another teammate. Due to budget restrictions (thanks Obama), only one player name per locker name plate.

If hambone had inspected each locker, my guess is he would have found at least one locker with two different sizes of shoes.
