Howard probably knocked her up or used to have a relationship with her of some sort. Are we positive he told her what was really going on?

Not positive,  but seems likely given she wouldn't tell Jimmy.

Chuck is going to eff Saul up, because he has never really believed in Jimmy.

I would guess Howard didn't want to fully alienate a valued employee just to carry water for an obviously insane senior partner that isn't ever coming back.

That's what I was thinking. Last night, we learned that he isn't pure evil. He might not be the greatest guy, but he was also being the bad guy on Chuck's behalf.

I knew it was coming and it was still awful to watch.

Judging by what you guys have said about Jimmy/Saul's character on BB and what happened with the latest episode I'm guessing season two will prominently feature Slippin Jimmy. We haven't seen that for the most part this season I think I'd make the show funnier.

This is exactly what CNSWife and I discussed last night.  Chuck turned Jimmy back into what Jimmy no longer was.  Chuck is a false and horrible person.

TV shows rarely elicit much emotion from me, but this morning when I watched last night's episode, I wanted to punch Chuck in his fat pompous face.

As loveable and good as Jimmy is Chuck is kinda right tho. Chuck doesn't even know about Jimmy paying stoners to fake an accident to extort a potential client. Or Jimmy's illegal involvement with a drug dealer, or Jimmy's involvement with assisting a client with theft from a law enforcement officer.

Kinda right, just kinda

All good points.  Pretty great character when they make you over look that and hate his brother so easily.

What a character development for Howard last night. We didn't hear the words said in the flashback at Jimmy's party for passing the bar, but now we know that was Chuck's doing too

Going back to Cicero is most likely just to introduce Jimmy to some new character (for this series anyway). I doubt Slipping' Jimmy lasts very long. I would guess he won't be out of the law profession for more than an episode or possibly two.

if there's one thing dumbasses excel at, it's feeling powerful emotions and being easily led around by them.

Politics and religion are very good examples of this.

with film/tv/entertainment, i would consider suspension of disbelief to be a conscious decision (unlike with religion/politics)

that's not what happened to cns when he hated chuck.  you don't have to suspend any disbelief, you have to be a momentary tbt.

Yep, I also called 911 and got super embarrassed during that one epi when tuco was about to kill those two kids.  Got real confusing when trying to describe where in the desert they were.

i really enjoyed the newest episode, finally got a chance to watch it.  i think this was the big shift in sauls life that confirmed that he should go back to what he is best at, slippin jimmy.

i guess not having emotion about anything is the best way to approach life, and berating people behind a computer screen is the best option to medicate your IRL problems, apparently.
