TBH, I'm surprised Lowery has stayed 3 years. When we hired him I thought it was a 1 or 2 year gig before he got another HC job.

When you consider what he's accomplished as both an AC and a HC, and that he's only 42 it's not ridiculous at all to think he'll get another shot. There are 351 D1 teams...that's a lot of head coaches and many of them aren't nearly as qualified.

I was kind of surprised Lowry didn't find a spot after year 2. The end of his tenure at Southern Illinois was pretty bad though.

Green Bay is far enough down the list that they gave Pearl a shot after he was black listed.

So, I consider it a nice second chance gig that can be a jumping off point for bigger things.

If we get rid of Lowry, we'll either get better, or things will fall apart even more.  Either way, I'm not upset at all if he goes.

That was Milwaukee not Green Bay. UW-GB is where Dick Bennett was before Wisconsin hired him. UW-GB is a better program than UW-Milwaukee

Does Lowery get credit for Malik?  He definitely gets credit for DJamer and Tre and I think he was the lead on Hurt.  I lay the blame for Orris sole only oscar. It is pretty sad that we have over 40+ years of coaching exp in Indiana and Illinois and the best recruit from that area was because Buzz left and didn't want to take him along.
