Ed Schultz was by far my favorite Air America personality. My cheeks would hurt from laughing when he would go on a tirade. Maddow was a distant second.

Maddow invariably starts with an obscure pub (local city councilman) who says something stupid and then rants on and about how it's basically the official policy position of the gop. She usually compares it to some other contrived "official policy position" based upon the same gimmick. It's so absurd and predictable, it's comical.

Yeah, Rush is the only political talk radio guy that seems to be capable of finding stories people are going to care about, taking the position that will fire up the most people, and then actually being entertaining when delivering the message. Hannity wants to be Rush, but he's no Rush and never will be. Political talk radio dies when Rush retires.

Funny Rush is an bad person story: couple yrs ago, he was interviewing a rep of whatevs union that linen cleaners belong to. She was very good at her side of the discussion. Rush seemed to refuse to actually discuss any of the issues with her and kept asking her how to get deodorant stains out of the pits of dress shirts and other things like that.
