Texas A&M in KC must count as a home game? It says we're 1-2 at home

Correct. In terms of resume, RPI, and those types of things it was a home game because K-State sold the tickets and hosted the game.

Honest question that I thought of this morning...

College coaches make their living by getting 18-23 year olds to perform.

Other industries that do the same thing?: Retail and food service

If oscar Weber was managing an Arby's or an American Eagle, what would it look like?  I mean, seriously.

Could oscar Weber actually motivate people to make a roast beef sandwich properly or fold skinny jeans?

Not good.

Its one thing to be poor at it. I mean, I get that occasionally you might have a season where you lose some guys.

The big issue for me is constantly coming out to the media and whining about it. Take ownership oscar, because ultimately its still your problem because this is your team. Your excuses only tick me off, and I'm one of your most patient fans. Otherwise just stop talking to the media because your act is getting old.

this x a million.  as a drove to work today, i was more mad at him blaming the team that he recruited for not wanting to play at k-state, than i was at our loss.

we need to keep a running tab on his excuses, our past two loses-

2/11/15 @ WVU it was the officials
2/18/15 @ TCU  the players don't want to play at k-state

i can't remember exactly when he threw nino under the bus

Its freaking pathetic.

A very important part of the job when you are making millions of dollars being a basketball coach is having a sound, consistent message in good times and in bad.

oscar is simply awful when things go south (its not like he's great when things are good) and he has proven he hasn't changed or learned anything from his time at Illinois.

I look at jet lag as this amorphous time between Maui and the start of Big 12 play.

I think we're forgetting that our tough start wasn't anything the coaches or players were doing.  Our poor start was a scheduling issue.  Nothing more.

I mean, when you think about it, this whole season is a scheduling issue.  If we were just able to play Southern Utah at home 30 times, we'd be really, really good.  We may have only lost two or three by now.

Interesting way to look at it. There needs to be a fast food reality show.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It's just unwatchable basketball.  The only redeeming entertainment value is simply watching oscar pour metaphorical gasoline on himself during every press conference and light a match with what he says.

But I don't even have to watch the games for that.  Trim summarizes it well enough that I can save myself two hours.

It's one thing not to like things like the performace or oscar's style. It's quite another to wildly speculate about how certain leadership qualities have a direct, negative affect on performance.
