WC, sorry to hear.  Do agree to get out of that industry, though.  Get back into software sales or try medical related sales stuff.  Both are going to be around and strong, industry wise, for a long time.

Perhaps it's his lack of attention to detail such as posting about his job status in a thread about Steve Jobs    :D

Maybe he is super busy at work and doesn't like to spend too much time checking BBS details that mean crap? Speaking generally, not specifically, since he isn't at work now.

Mine was a defense, not meant to be snark.  I think it ridic that someone's BBS effort be thought to reflect their actual make-money work ethic.

Fanman is down.  No reason to kick.  An upbeat Fanman is pretty integral to what goes on around here.

Hard to believe that Steve has been gone for over 3 years.

Wacky, get out there and find a great job. I think you knew all along that this last job was just a paycheck. Working for a paycheck sucks balls. Wake up tomorrow and write your old company a letter thanking them for paying you for an extra two weeks while you go out and find something that can become a career that you enjoy and not just a paycheck that leads to a better paycheck.

Who gives a crap about getting let go in a downsizing? That happens quite a bit. Keep your head up! :lynchmob:
