Doc Holliday, Marshall University
Plus:  Rebuilt a program, currently  has a boss MAC team.  Hire would allow Holliday to transition into a power 5 conf program.  Has mastered sunglasses on cap visor look that would play well in Lawrence.
Minus:  Hangover from previous MAC head-coach hire.  Is KU still paying Turner Gill?  Few recruiting ties to region that KU has to recruit from.
Pay:  $1.5 to $2 million.
OH man can you imagine Doc Holliday coaching a school in Kansas?  Good grief the possibilities are endless!

How old is this cowboy?

is there any chance that they hire Snyder (bill) away from us?

I'm afraid that he'd go for the right price

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

If we keep this thread nice enough we will be able to freecycle it for our inevitable coaching search.  It's called forward thinking, and if you were expert Agile coaches you would know this.

Couldn't put Herm's name and rape/drug/crime culture of KU in the same sentence.

I just don't see Bill (Snyder) doing it. He's a maverick and all (on and off the field), but I think this stallion has been tamed.

I was dead serious about my Mike Leach suggestion.  I just hope KU does not hire him, because he would be an awesome replacement for Snyder.

Tweeted yesterday that it needs to be ron Prince.  No gE'ing.

Lots of NFL experience now and a real tangible understanding of how to make KSU lose.

Ig Ron says no, get Leach.  I saw that his record at the current gig is 11-22.  Would orobs love to get back to Big12 fb and closer to TX for cruits.

its time.

He's just chilling at the dojo. KU could hire him to coach games this season and start recruiting. No other coach can give them that.

I think they should strongly consider him if he wins 2 games.

If he does, then KU knows Chaz was a major mistake.  They'll be looking for a new AD.

I'm more interested to see who emerges as the front runner for the "coach we had but then things barely fell through" talking point.  Harbaugh is tough to top, but it can be done.  For the fanbase, its good for morale as it would seem unsubstantiated rumors give them validation for some reason.  Then, understandably, this spills over into "nattys we would have won with the coach we didn't get" which in turn leads to more validation.

Been at KU and actually went back there after leaving.  Worked with bigtime programs and smaller programs. Recruiter... Offensive line guy...

5 years... 2 million per should land him.
