The McNeese State Fightin' Flamingos.

It reminded me of a scene near the end of the crappy Sci-Fi movie with Charlie Scheen called  "Arrival"    He tells the alien that was disguised as the kid that he was going to reveal their secret.   The kid comes partly out of the disguise and runs off.  You can see that his knee joints are backwards compared to a human.

Is it Saturday, yet??????

Don't know the details but heard it from several sources.   One of those being Coach Matt Viator himself explaining why Daniel is just getting back on track passing the ball.   I watched the replay of last Saturday's game again tonight.   Daniel threw some good balls.

More shots of Sams smiling and enjoying McNeese state please.  Shirtless optional/no homo //maybe a little

Here you go.   A happy Daniel after the game.  135 yards on 13 carries and 2 TD passes for the night.

Good win, guys, against Texas Tech.    Now, watch out for that O.D.U. team this weekend.   We had those guys twice this year and we still haven't scored against them.   Of course, our defense shut them down, too.    ;-)

A couple of Daniel photos.

P.S.  I hate open dates.  I'm glad we don't have any more this season.

Didn't count the snaps, but Daniel started and played all the series except for the last two of the first half.   He started the first series of the second half and drove the team to a TD.   By that time, the score was like 31-0.   I do think he played 1 series to start the 4th quarter.

He has been getting more snaps every game.   It will be interesting to see what happens next week when we play Sam Houston St.   We haven't played anybody decent since Nebraska and Sam Houston will be our first real test since then.

Could SAMs transfer back to Ksu for his senior year?
Serious question.

I don't think there's any rules against it, although I'd consider it highly unlikely.

He would start next year for us, no doubt.  Now if Waters gets hurt this year, I can see Snyder being pissed at SAMs for leaving us.  But assuming that doesn't happen, it is the logical thing for both SAMs and KSU, right?  Start at McNeese or Kstate ( which might have the best defense in the country next year)?  It's a no-brainer!

Somebody needs to plant this seed in SAMs' head through twitter or Facebook or whatever.  We would definitely want him to be here for spring ball.

Guys, it is right in front of our fat faces and we are missing it. Snyder had this planned out from the beginning. The Wizard placed him at McNeese State to get him some reps. He knew that Sams would be limited to running plays here at KSU, so why not send him off for a year to get some game experience start to finish, running and passing. In 2015, Sams comes back a seasoned veteran who can deliver spirals from here to the moon, plus perfected high stepping skills.

I guess I am.  Please enlighten me.  Are you saying that it is far-fetched that Snyder would be pissed, or are you saying it is obvious that Snyder would be pissed?

I personally think Snyder was pissed, and probably still is.  But, I also think Snyder is pragmatic and competitive as anybody, meaning that the prospects of having a really awesome team next year would be enough to get over his anger.  But, if Waters gets hurt and we lose a bunch of games because we have no back-up quarterback this year, that might be too much for Snyder to get over.

In any event, since we all seem to like the idea, somebody take action and float this idea with Sams.  Get him thinking about it now.
