Not who you think will start but who do you want to see? I would love for the starter to be Delton. If a true freshman can win the QB battle for LHC Bill Snyder he would have to be a mega stud and that would mean no more QB battles until 2019. Still #teamdelton

2 minutes after I start this thread I hear Wyatt say he thinks Delton is the best overall QB on the K-State season preview during Big 12 Showcase.

Seeing what could happen if you hand the reigns over to a guy for 4 years is so exciting and builds potential super stud season over the next 3 years that why I am too on #TeamDelton

Which ever combo makes us win the most IN ONE SEASON. The one season winning thing is most important so if Delnton can win the most in one season then we'll duh him.

delton, has the upside and why not if we are in a "rebuilding year" sucks for the defense because i think they will be damn good but with our schedule we could still win 8 games with a early enrolled frosh

It's obviously Delton. If the recruit they have committed for next year is as good as he's supposed to be, he will then be able to redshirt next year, and then have 2 years difference between him and Delton. If we muddle through Ertz/Hubs/and a Cali Love that only gets used for Wildcat packages this year so we can redshirt Delton, then next year we're in the same boat of either having an average starter or an unproven redshirt freshman. If Delton has the most upside and right now isn't that far behind where the others are, see what he can do this year. He basically has half a redshirt year under him anyway since he was here for spring ball.

I wanted more out of Banks, but I believe the pieces are in place this year for us to start a freshman and still make a bowl game/win seven games. As everyone else has said, that sets us up at QB for what is most likely the duration of Snyder's career.

3) Ertz
4) Bazooka Joe

That's the order I'd place them in based on what I want. I think Ertz could be solid, I just don't see him as a game changer like Banks or Delton....

I want someone who can be an on the field leader and know the playbook. We will get crushed by elite teams if we keep our playbook too simple. That being said, if Ertz is just going to be a battering ram that throws short passes, hand the reigns to Delton.

If we are actually going to have a passing game? I think you need someone who knows the playbook and the reads etc. In those cases my preference is Ertz.
