We just bombed an air strip. Maybe I'm just overestimating the blast radius of a tomahawk cruise missile, but 50+ missiles for 1 air base seems like it might be a little excessive. Maybe we could have hit 2 air bases instead?

Surprisingly the talking heads on NBC are impressed with and in support of this action.

Why?  should have happened in 13, dems were for this the first time he gassed people, pubs blocked it saying presidential action was unconstitutional.

Like 100 Reps signed an oath to impeach Obama if he acted without congressional approval.

Nothing wrong with bombing Assad. But bitching about Obama while doing it (and conveniently forgetting what 'pubs position was in 2013) just shows how pathetic the GOP is. I think that's what everyone has a problem with.

But but, the new left/globalist/deep state! They are doing this. It's all political games and theatre, always nice when you are the one with the precious, instead of having to worry about the nasty hobbitses having it. But alas, I'm sure this is all the lefts fault, somehow.

I think it is fair to say that some of the blame should land on both sides of the aisle.

I don't think blame is really important....It's a very complex situation without one clear answer. The hypocrisy is what people are calling out and are frustrated by.

I thought the goal was to overwhelm their defenses. Some were going to get shot down but all wouldn't be.

Blah. I'm glad we bombed their airfield. I'd be in support of decimating (but not really decimating as I want 10/10) Syria's AF. I'm not in favor of bombing neighborhoods.

Interesting take General Mckee.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

This makes me wonder how much he flew when he wasn't president. It is possible he made these trips almost constantly when he was a private citizen and it isn't that different for him now. The question is whether he is aware of the appearance to the public this constant movement has on his reputation as president.
