Not sure why they are calling it "nuclear." Democrats did the exact same thing under Obama for cabinet appointments.

The board changed a lot in my one year hiatus. The one thing I definitely predicted was Wacky trying to be dax's protege.

Reuters surveyed 32 utilities with operations in the 26 states that sued former President Barack Obama's administration to block its Clean Power Plan

Of the 32 utilities contacted by Reuters, 20 said Trump's order would have no impact on their investment plans; five said they were reviewing the implications of the order; six gave no response. Just one said it would prolong the life of some of its older coal-fired power units.

"Utility planning typically takes place over much longer periods than presidential terms of office," Berkshire Hathaway Inc-owned Pacificorp spokesman Tom Gauntt said.

Working in the power business, I could told you that. Which is so lol why he panders to the coal industry. It's a dinosaur roaming the planet, just not for much longer. Natural Gas is kicking coal's ass, and in about 5-10 years solar is going to be kicking natural gas's ass.

  I mean when your planning is on 5 year horizons, trying to make it competitive now might not be a thing later. But no, they aren't going back to coal anytime soon.

They just want to stick to what they only have known, life down a dark hole and black lung. You can't blame them for wanting to not improve their lot in life.

What if they hate themselves?  :surprised:
