Frank Tracz, professor of music and director of bands at K-State, said swearing in the student section is getting out of hand, so much so he has decided to remove a song from the band’s playlist because it leads to the dropping of too many “F bombs.”

“Dropping the ‘F bomb’ in front of a sign that says LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium to me is sacrilegious, and you’re gonna go to football hell for doing that, there’s no question,” Tracz said.

I dunno, never been to a game in Lawrence.  I'd have to see if it's funny or not before I would make my decision.

I'm not offended by eff, I tend to drop it more often then I should, but it comes off as teenagers thinking they are cool 'cause they can cuss in public now. I just want to believe that our students are more elite and save the immaturity for burning couches in the street and stuff like that. Yelling eff at the end of a song is just plain tacky.

I vote we hire DJamer Pauly D to DJamer all our games from a booth where the bad used to be.  Then we sell all those primo seats around him.  Also we recruit really good.

Yes.  This lead to an impromptu and unbelievably elite acapela version by yours truly that captured the imagination of ICAT while waiting for the end of halftime.
