The fact that this country puts more importance on sports then education will destroy it. Has anyone see the movie Idoicracy, well you should it is our future.

The upper portion of the far North and South ends of the East Side upper deck get filled MAYBE once a season.  The top half of the East Side upper deck should be turned into suites or something else high revenue.

You would be surprised. They are actually fairly full more often than not. It's pretty crazy.

K-State Football would survive any financial collapse.  This cruise ship weathers all storms.

Not gonna lie, the thought has crossed my mind.  When it comes to the swank and over the top Las Vegas style opulence, I'm mostly worried about how this is going to affect the five hearts and whether this new facility is going to keep us from from recruiting the next salt of the earth walk-on from Centralia or Kingman.

doesn't seem like it's hurt our ability to continue recruiting walk-on talent in basketball.

Yes, I have two concerns.

1.  I echo the concerns about our facilities being too nice.   This dynamic could really upset the apple cart and really turn the eye of some higher rated recruits.   They in turn could supplant multiple DITR's from Hoisington and Scott City.   

2.  A recent in person observo show that the new practice fields are still growing in, and thus K-State will only be practicing in the stadium.   This really outlines the need for an entirely new football practice complex with both grass and artificial grass fields.

When we build new practice fields, I think we should surround then with 30' jumbo trons. Like 360 degrees. Then they could simulate any stadium they wanted. Just an idea tho.
