I don't know who is making this junk up about possibly cancelling the game, but I remember a recent Texas game where they started playing at like 11:00pm.  This better happen, even if its during Pac 12 hour.

The weather website I'm looking at shows storms pretty much all night into the early morning. They aren't going to play a game at 1am.
