is any of this confirmed? was there a witness? he could have been suspended for something else. but if he did beat that dog, he can get mumped.

Based on the context it seems like he already admitted to "loosing his cool" (sic) and beating the dog s and then letting it run off.

Yea, the story leaves that open. Right now all they have is a Facebook post where the person suspects he did it (despite trusting him and having no incident before). The suspension could be coincidence or even just while they sort out what the truth is.

If they confirm it, I'd hope he gets kicked off the team. Even if not for the severity of the act then because who the hell would want to play for that kind of POS?
