When the Royals won 83 in 2003, they were 14-5 against the Tigers, the worst team of our lives. Having a garbage team in your division is a great boost, but you can't be the team that goes 6-13 or whatever against them. Any time we lose to these losers it will feel like 2 losses.

Yep. We are on our way to a 5-0 start with 14 more games against these guys. Going 14-5 or better would be a really nice boost.

i don't.  it leads to warming relievers up unnecessarily and using them in more stressful situs.  i think they pitch better in clean innings and i think they like it more.  like that ;last inning.  just give hoch the whole inning.  warming up is harder on the arm than the one batter he faced.

Yeah but we've had so many bad starts from starters this year, Ned is going to try and stretch 6 into 6 2/3 when he can from guys like Kennedy and Volquez. Every out the starters can reasonably get they should get.

I stand corrected, he's latino being settled by a latin based speaking european nation, but not hispanic. Thanks US census bureau
