You no longer have to worry about getting a couple to your home only to find out they're Muslim or Hindu.

Essentially Flyertalk / TV in the garage
« on: July 30, 2013, 08:34:32 AM »
So, I have an extra 42 inch LED TV and nowhere to put it.  I was considering mounting it in the garage but I didn't really know if I would use it enough to justify installing DirecTV in the garage. Then I just realized, I have an old PC that I can hook to the TV and stream DTV on it.

Man.... life is good.

The secret is in the cream boys. Don't skimp and get Barbasol or Colgate. Get the good stuff. Your face will love you for it.

Essentially Flyertalk / How much is too much?
« on: June 24, 2013, 08:52:30 AM »
I never wear a K-State hat with a K-State shirt. Unless I'm going to a game. Even then, I'm uncomfortable.

I always put one of these on the back of every car.

If I add a K-State plate frame is that too much?

And would a K-State license plate be too over the top?

Essentially Flyertalk / How awesome are you at your job?
« on: June 19, 2013, 07:46:37 AM »
I must be doing a lot right because my boss just gave me 3000 corporate points to use in the company store.  I'm going to get me a key chain with the company's logo on it.  Or I might save up my points and buy a flashlight with the company logo on it that doesn't require batteries.  That will come in very handy when the zombies take over the world. Only 12000 more points to go.

One night you awaken to a noise in your living room. You grab the pistol from your nightstand and go to your living room. In your living room you find a man with your $95 blu-ray player under his arm You raise your gun and yell for him to not move.  The man makes a break for the door.  Do you shoot? Or do you let  him run away? I think in most cases it's perfectly legal to shoot him. But do you?

The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / China

Total puds.

Just watched the last episode of VICE and I am not impressed with China. http://hbo.vice.com/

They keep building housing and high rises that they don't need or will ever need.  They built a city designed to hold 1 million people and only 30,000 people live there.

Essentially Flyertalk / I hope someone found her keys!

http://gawker.com/drunk-miami-man-drowns-searching-sewer-for-lost-keys-s-486721023

Quote
A woman in Miami was waiting on a locksmith after she'd accidentally dropped her keys into a sewer drain when our hero, Richard Brandenburg, 49, walked by and said he could help. Brandenburg told the woman he used to work in the sewers and therefore knew how they worked and where the lost keys might have gone.

It's unclear if the woman agreed to Brandenburg's help or not; either way, he quickly jumped into the drain, though not before thoroughly preparing himself first. And by thoroughly preparing himself, I mean he got drunk, chugging a half pint of rum and smoking several cigarettes. Brandenburg told curious on-lookers he drank the rum because he expected the water to be cold.

Turned the auto sprinklers on yesterday but didn't check all the heads.   Was awoken at 3 a.m. this morning to the loud spraying of water onto my bedroom window.  Had to go to the garage and turn off the sprinklers. Took me at least 5 minutes to get back to sleep.

And, to make things worse. The irrigation dude won't be able to come out until Friday.

Are all going to be in Dallas this week for Bush's Library opening. If anyone hears where Clinton is staying let me know, I want to go party with Bill.

Glad I'm off work tomorrow, traffic will probably be a nightmare.

For work I've been working with people in Canada a lot lately. I don't understand how they can live in that god awful weather and still be so friendly. Toronto might be the happiest place on earth. They should trademark that saying and put it on a sign at the airport.

More - steve dave. That guy used to be my favorite poster until he just vanished. The Birther pit needs more moderates.

Less- Trim. You're a lawyer, we get it. Enough already.
