It was a lame one with no cliff divers anyway. When I saw the cliff divers on the South Park version of Casa Bonita I thought they were fake but apparently some CB really do have cliff divers.

Makes sense why they went out of business then.

one of my earliest memories is the loud noise of fake gun shots and watching divers at casa bonita in denver.

Maybe I should make Gooch stop at CB on our way through Denver.

I will be in Tulsa for a few days for a work thingy and the Mrs. is going with me. So what in the hell is there to do in Tulsa? I thought about signing up for one of those escape room things to kill time while down there

iirc we have some posters who I would consider to be "cool" who live there. hopefully they chime in.
I really want to be on the sd cool list and I don't care who knows it.

Casa Bonita is the worst (food) and best (everything else) restaurant in the world. First time I went I got a prime seat right in front of the cliff divers. Second time was in the magic show room which was less fun.

Went to kstate vs Colorado football game and when there was indecision about dinner in Denver, I stepped up using my south Park knowledge to get us to CB. Horrible food.

Anyone know non-beach Miami?  Need to pick a place for next month.  Will be arriving in the morning from an overnight flight and having the entire day to kill before going to #teamangel that night at 9.  Plan is to not get a car until the next morning when I'd be driving up to Ft. Lauderdale.  Rob says Brickell or Coral Gables.  These all seem relatively convenient to light rail from the airport and to a hertz to get a car the next day, so just a matter of what would be best to recover in for part of the day and to entertain myself w/in walking/riding distance until gametime, and to get back and knock out after the game.  The Coral Gables ones are right at the U so that'd be easy, but seems there'd be a little more going on during the day and happy hour or dinner at Brickell?

Coral Gables is worth experiencing. If you stayed in Brickell, you could plan on seeing and having a drink or two in each area.

This could happen as long as we stop and pick up "appetizers" first.
