I didn't get to watch Thursday's episode until just now, but I saw Friday's tweet about how the Diarrhea Times was available at 8 spots across the country, including one here, and knew it must be an integral part of the show.
So I drove down to the spot, which turned out to be a bougie grocery store in a bougie neighborhood, complete with artisan bread advertisement. The newspaper was in a rack right at the front so I barely even had to step in. But in trying to get back to the car, Payton saw a big patch of grass that she's not used to downtown and wanted to play. There was another dog running around off-leash and they became quick buds. That dog's human was a nice young lady sitting on the bench there that I'd normally have a pleasant conversation with, but I was still holding the rough ridin' Diarrhea Times in my hand and still had no way of even explaining why or why it's funny as I hadn't seen the episode yet. Awkward.
Anyway, I now have a copy of the inaugural Diarrhea Times to auction at FattyFest.
