Well probably win. Even at our worst we are the third best team in the world. There are only three teams that can win this tournament; us, Germany, and France, they play each other in the quarters on Friday.

We are very good defensively and China isn't the same team they have been. I just talked myself into thinking we'll lose 0-0, 4-2 in a penalty shootout.

I don't know about that. The performance they registered against Sweden spoke volumes to me. I'll grant that formation and coaching matters, but while in the game, those players must make the issue of playing time or starting undeniable.

Who has had a good performance consistently other than the defenders and Hope? Don't think you are being fair to Press and Leroux at least.

Also Leroux's best position imo is LW in a 433. Far from striker in a 442.

I've never thought of Leroux as a striker, she seems more of a Zusi than a Dom

She's looked good about as good as anybody on the ball for the two games I've seen. I'm no expert, but I don't know if she gets forward enough to create chances. Fun Fact I saw today: She lives with Jeff Van Gundy
