Can we talk about what a cesspool Missouri is? They have two cities ranked in the top 10 in crime ridden cities in the US. rough ridin' woof! St. Louis is actually ranked globally as well.
This should probably be a wacky world discussion...you keep trying to bait it but nobody is biting.

There's no baiting. It's clear facts, bub. Either you accept it or you don't. Missouri is hot garbage.

this is fantastic
https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article214693535.html

just another day in kcmo city politics

Quote
Taylor was lambasted last week by Mayor Sly James, who called it “a transparently political move” intended to force opponents to go on the record in opposing basic ethics reform.

slump is so rough ridin' corrupt.  how dare a politician who is running for office make a transparently political move.  as i've said several hundred times throughout this thread, slump really prefers a total lack of transparency.

You know, for many years I had only driven through St. Louis, finally a couple of years ago I had a business trip there, conference in their Union Station, which wasn't bad.   But I was aghast at how awful it was in total, and I give most places the benefit of the doubt when you're just there for just a snapshot trip and gone, but St. Louis, WOOF.

KC is a much nicer city overall.

St. Louis's downtown is woof central. There's nothing to do other than the Cardinals too.

with growth like that i’d say it seems like the airport is functioning pretty well, obviously the lies about airlines and passengers avoiding mic have now been debunked.  how can anybody justify spending $2B on a new one?

That's also with 2/3 terminals even being in operation.

The reasons for building a new terminal haven't changed (horrible experience, old, doesn't work)....clams just whiffed on his prediction that 1.9% annual growth was an unreasonable assumption to base financing on.
