Why do they punish their fans.  If north Korea had a gridiron club, I would expect it to be described exactly like that.

Trust me their experience wasn't isolated. The literally didn't de-ice anything, the stairs, the aisles, anything. Massively unsafe in that stadium. Also, they didn't do anything of that on the campus either. Just a slip and fall break your neck lawsuit city waiting to happen.

I even joked to some of the ku fans that they didn't de-ice the stairs to take out some of the k-state fans, they agreed that's probably why  :frown:

First off, id like to thank papa gump for the opportunity. Anyway, got some
Gridiron club seats for the beat down. Showed up in the "club" about 30 mins prior to kick and its 35 degrees in the hutch. They have a couple weak ass heaters close to the "bar" that dont do a damn thing. The building is cold as ****. They couldnt pick up a couple space heaters at lowes? None of the TVs are turned on. The carpet looked like a fraternity mat after 10 house parties. It was that stained. The covers over the tables were stained and heinous. Everyone inside was freezing their nuts off. You could see your breath. By the way clearly some of our fans sold their tickets to taters - judging by the amount of camo and carhardt onesies in the "building." Cant say that i blame them, but that was fun. Grabbed a coors light (no RD) and i thought i would get frost bite brah. You couldnt see the field. The windows were covered in ice, they eventually started scraping them midway through the first quarter so the patrons could see the field. Thanks. The TVs came on about the same time. First we were watching the USC UCLA game until they finally put our game on...again midway through the first quarter. I got kinda pissed because I couldn't see a got damn thing and decided to go outside. Wait...none of the recliners out front were dried off. Just covered in water and ice. Unless you are a mastadon, why would you sit down there. I mean got damn.

My favorite part was whenever gay state would score another easy ass TD they would kick and extra point and it would loudly doink off the roof of the "Gridiron club" as the ku fans tried to suck down beers to numb the pain

Adding this response for the :frown: factor

The extra point hitting the roof continuously is easily the best gem out of this game

What a weird dynamic that would be.  How does a prideful man like Paul Rhoads take orders from David Beaty...a coach he just beat 38-13?

I've learned to trust kslim on stuff like this. It's just shocking considering Beaty is on record saying that he and Bowen are very good friends and he would've most likely been the OC had Bowen been given the job last year.

Rhoads isn't taking any job at KU that isn't the head coach. He will get a better offer or he can afford to wait for a better one.
