Glad to hear they're renovating. Hopefully they'll upgrade those awful bathrooms so it doesn't take 20 mins to pee in a trough. Looking forward to a complete aesthetic overhaul too. Wonder if they will bring capacity more in line with the crowds to improve the atmosphere & make it more intimate. That could be nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkKU would benefit from a smaller, 42,000 person stadium similar to Amon G. Carter with more amenities to keep butts in seats during down years. If they get good then demand and prices will increase. I don't think a 55,000+ stadium would benefit them.

And the indoor practice facility is a must. Even D-2 schools like Pitt State and Fort Hays have an indoor practice facility.

They can strip that b1tch down to knub and build it back up and you won't ever know what it looked like before. If you really knew your football you would know what OU and Kstate's stadiums looked like in 1990 because both were holes in the wall.

Add parking underground east of the stadium and leave the grass area for tailgating. a couple levels of underground parking and still have a grass tailgate area.

First, they're starting with an indoor practice facility.............not the stadium. Yet another "clear the deck" project that takes precedence over Memorial. Which means they're still kicking the can just enough to buy some time. If on-the-field results go south and Beaty doesn't show any improvement, they'll still be able to easily back out of stadium renovations.Secondly, this is the Xth time we've heard about actual plans being drawn up and released, and the XXth time we've heard the phrase "things that should have been done 10 years ago." How any KU fan can buy into this charade one millisecond before a shovel touches the dirt is beyond me. Zenger's told us the same thing for the better part of a decade, and some people just eat it up every time.Skepticism is well justified.Rate now:
