Pro Tip: 95% of coaching has nothing to do with player turnovers.

lol, wes is the epitome of an oscar-coached player
You mean a good player expected to be what he is not? Correct. Wes is great at what he does. So is DJamer. Neither should be counted on as program leading players. Just like Rodney. Just like Walker. Just like Curt. Just like Jamar. Good players, of differing talent levels yes, but none should ever be expected to carry/lead a team.

no he's the ultimate oscar player bc he's petty, aloof, and shits his pants in crunch time
Good grief. I'm sure he wishes he was KSU's all time scorer or being able to yell at Curt for being a wimp. I hope you are the foremost at whatever it is you do. I'd hope that if I ever learned your name I'd be taken aback. Without that you're a rando calling out a talented D1 athlete for being what he is. Nothing more nothing less.

He's a kid. Playing a game. He's a good player. He makes mistakes.

I don't agree with any of this but how in the hell do you justify petty and aloof? I can't think of anything more petty than attacking that dude because he doesn't make as many shots to your liking the last 30 seconds of a game

petty, bc he's the kind of guy who posts about the "haters" after beating a crap ass team by 3 when DJamer pulled out a miracle w, and also bc last year when he said the fan support sucked ass and that's the reason they were losing. aloof, bc that's his default look on the court. like, i could absolutely gaf about being here. but, yes, wes is a good player, who stuck it out after the exodus and has gotten much better, and who i sincerely hope goes on to make a lot of money playing bball and being a contributor in the league or elsewhere. and conflating what i ascertain from afar to be his level of effort and care (or any player's) on the court while they play for free for the team i like with a coach whom i do not like who is making 2 mil a year (whom i wish to either be a better coach or fired) is silly. you guys are right, and i will retire to my body bag. or, perhaps, to my still ambulatory but walking ded state.

Just try to be a little less mean and a little more sympathetic to the dude. This can't be easy for him, I don't think this is how he envisioned his senior year going.

It's not particularly fun on this board these days, I imagine getting ridiculed while going through this can be a bit grating.

Yes. I think you can easily give constructive criticism (and be positive) without being an bad person, but many people struggle with this concept.

I think this may be my favorite EMAW sports memory ever.

And Pullz has moved to the top of my all time favorite basketball Cats list.

Man, what good times those were for K-State basketball. I miss it.

Yeah, pretty crazy.

At least its in HD format though. Watching the highlights of the Beasley/Walker win over KU in SD format makes it look like it may have happened in 1988.

That was my Freshman year. My buddy had a 80's T-Top Camaro that he rebuilt and we took the tops off and drive through the Ville. Some chick grabbed him while he was driving and started making out with him.

It was a good night.  We Pak'd pretty hard.
